Over 20 years of fun on the golf course!
Since it’s inception in 1999, the AN7GC’s Anishinabek Veterans Memorial Golf Tournament has raised over $500,000.00 in net proceeds for the Grant Program of the AN7GC.
The event is the AN7GC’s most successful annual fundraising initiative and is supported by the generosity of community partners as well as team registrations. Participation in the tournament is open to anyone and everyone. Our participants are treated like ‘golf kings and queens’ for a day!
The charity golf tournament is a scramble format and there are on-course contests such as longest drive, closest-to-the-pin, straightest drive and a chance at winning some amazing hole-in-one prizes. The tournament is followed by a dinner reception where participants have the opportunity to meet Anishinabek Nation leadership, our celebrity guests and representatives from our corporate partners while at the same time placing bids for some remarkable items in our silent auction. Following dinner is the announcement of the champions in each division as well as the distribution of many exciting prizes.
